A mix for the last days of summer...

So it has been awhile since we last posted something. We've had a busy summer playing but the activities are winding down. Caught a ton of good shows in July, many of which were free. Brazilian Girls played with Femi Kuti at Central Park Summerstage on one of the hottest and muggiest days of the year. The rain saved us though midway through the Brazilian Girls set, but also turned everything into a muddy glop. Fun though. Thanks to NoronaCorona I caught The Roots for flash fusion concert at Hudson River park. They played for at least two hours. I believe you can listen to the concert online. Ursula Rucker played a small but really good show in Brooklyn at Ft. Greene park. Royksopp is definitely one of my favorite groups to see live as they are always fun and full of energy. And finally, I got to see one of my all-time favorites, Digable Planets at Irving Plaza. As this was definitely a summer of quality music, part of this mix is dedicated to that and another small part is for my friends in London. Cheers to a summer of amazing music!
